We placed 2 songs in the family movie “First Dog USA” by film maker Bryan Michael Stoller (Miss Castaway), with music from Garrett Wall and Eric Hansen. Dolly Parton has some songs featured in the movie as well. The movie will be released during 2010.  http://www.firstdogusa.com

We have also started working with a well established LA based Ad Agency providing them with cues for their high profile commercials, which is an exiting new venture for us.

We are also happy to have the honor to represent the Finnish LA based Film Composer Jussi Tegelman, who has scored movies such as “Highlander - Search for Vengeance”, “Follow the Prophet”, ”Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “Virgin Suicides”, ”Meltdown”,  ”Contract Killer” to name a few and he recently worked on the sound track for “This Is It” (Michael Jackson).  Please go to http://www.jussitegelman.com to learn more about this amazingly talented and versatile Film Composer.

We are currently working on a new Ambient and Chill Compilation Album Vol. 2 for release this summer in Europe and US and we’re looking for up beat new sounding interesting chill and ambient music with vocals.

From providing mostly background music and songs to film and TV for the past years, we have also embarked on a new exiting venture providing songs for major artists, both in the US and Europe. We recently released the song “Flieg Mit Mir” (Fly With Me) on Luttenberger-Klug’s album (Warner, Germany) written by Irene Tuomainen and Lene Dissing and have now one song on hold with Sony Polen by composer Ove Brenna. The demand for major hit songs is overwhelming and we are currently seeking  song writers with potential hit songs in the drawer. We recently pitched songs to artists like Kylie Minogue, Kelly Clarkson and The Dolls.

Feature Sounds’s founder Irene Tuomainen attended the Scandinavian Film Festival taking place at the Writer’s Guild in Los Angeles in January 2010, where she met up with film makers from Norway, Denmark and Sweden and founder James Koenig.
